About Us

Trunk Show Vintage is owned and operated by Ivy Company, a contemporary and vintage clothing resale boutique in central California. I’ve had my little store on the corner, bringing unique style to the Central Coast, since 1997.

While Ivy Company carries mostly modern resale apparel, we do lots work with local estates and auctions, and have had a growing collection of gorgeous vintage clothing & jewelry. 
I grew up in a family of antique dealers, and have been collecting and selling vintage clothing for more than 30 years. I also have a background as a seamstress, costume designer, fashion stylist, performing artist, visual artist, and business consultant.


Who is Daisy Fairbanks?
She’s actually the name of a charm & etiquette teacher whose classes were attended by my mother and grandmother in the early 1960’s. She held evening teas for women, and offered instruction in such topics as how to set a table, coordinate your wardrobe, and how to walk through a door like Donna Reed. Her classes became part of the family lore – how the women in my family strived for perfection and failed – hilariously but with certain flair. We’ve often wondered what became of Ms. Fairbanks.
